Model Club's "Mystical Zen" photoshoot featured three stunning plus-size models: yoga instructor Audrey, our buddy Stephy, and of course Candy Elle. I’ve tastefully pixelated for boob privacy while showing the models' unique beauty & celebrating body positivity. This plus-size topless photoshoot gave me a chance to learn how to feel comfortable & empowered during a topless shoot.

Audrey wore layered necklaces with dark stones & metallic accents. Her smoky eye makeup & deep red lip complemented the bohemian shoot style. Audrey helped pose and teach everyone how to get into the Zen zone. Her advice for aspiring models: Embrace your unique style. Let your authentic personality shine through your poses, for a truly captivating plus-size topless photoshoot so you’re comfy and it shows.

Stephy’s multiple layered necklaces contrasted beautifully with her dark eye makeup and deep red lipstick. Stephy’s key tip was to talk a bit first. Communicate clearly with your photographer; open discussion is key to a comfortable and empowering experience during a topless photoshoot. Speak up. It gives everyone better results!

Candy Elle's pastel pink hair provided a striking contrast to her vampy lip, subtle winged eyeliner, & a simple lacy black choker necklace. Her empowering message for setting boundaries? Wear your damn bra! Let them edit the boobs in later. If they don’t like it, 🤷‍♀️. Prioritizing your comfort during a topless photoshoot is paramount.

the perfectly imperfect mole in the moon

there's a moon tattooed on my left arm – about the size of a roma tomato, maybe. right in the middle of it is mole i used to hate. the dermatologist sad “we can’t remove it you’ll have a scar” but i didn’t care - a scar is preferable to a rabbit turd oh my skin. my mom used to pick at it & wipe it like it was dirt that’d just come off. but the tattoo artist did what i asked. he didn't cover the mole; he incorporated it. made it part of something cute. it's a crescent moon, actually, & the mole is right in the middle of a flower perfectly in the curve almost like it was meant to be there (because it was meant to be there - built the fuck around it.) it's a metaphor, ig. those parts of ourselves we want to hide or hate? they can be transformed. integrated. made art. the mole isn't a flaw anymore – it's part of the design, part of my story. we start with what we start with. we get what we get, but most of us are indeed upset. it’s up to us to this life what...
